Prayer for Discernment
God our Father, you have placed within my heart a desire for happiness. I know this happiness for which I long is found in your loving plan for me. Strengthen your grace within me so that I may hear your voice and discern the vocation you have set before me. Help me not to be distracted or discouraged by things that promise happiness but cannot give it; help me to seek my happiness in your will for me. May the Immaculate Conception help me to do with eagerness whatever you tell me that I may be happy with you forever. Amen.
