In Matthew 11:28-30, Jesus says, "Come to me, all you who are weary and heavy burdened, and I will give you rest." "Come to Me," or in Latin, "Venite ad Me," is Jesus's invitation to draw ever closer to Him and to His Church. Join other Catholic men from our Diocese for this Venite ad Me Holy Week Discernment Retreat.
The retreat will begin with the Chrism Mass at 6:00pm at the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception. Following the Chrism Mass, we will drive to the Villa Maria Retreat Center on Lake Springfield where we will stay and take our meals. The retreat will end with the Holy Thursday Mass at the Cathedral on Holy Thursday night, Thursday, April 2. No commitment is implied by your presence.
