The Diocese of Springfield in Illinois provides eligible employees with a 403(b) Qualified Retirement Plan. Employees are eligible for plan benefits from their date of hire. To participate in the plan, an employee must be at least 18 years of age and work a minimum of 20 hours per week. Employees can obtain a copy of the Summary Plan Description which contains the details of the plan including eligibility and benefit provisions from the Office for Insurance and Benefits at the Diocese of Springfield in Illinois Catholic Pastoral Center. This benefit, as well as other benefits, may be canceled or changed at the discretion of the Diocese of Springfield in Illinois unless otherwise required by law.
