The Curia, parish, school, or other agency shall follow the procedures set forth in Book II The People of God §Policy 600: Recruitment, 601 Position Descriptions

Job descriptions outline the essential duties and responsibilities of a position and serve as an outline only. Due to business needs, an employee may be required to perform job duties that are not within their job description. Furthermore, the pastor, principal, Office for Human Resources, or agency director may have to revise, add to, or delete from the job duties per the needs of the Curia, parish, school, or other agency. On occasion, job descriptions may need to be revised with or without advance notice to the employee. If the employee has any questions regarding his/her job description, would like a copy of his/her job description or wants clarification about the scope of his/her duties, the employee should speak with their supervisor.
