The Diocese of Springfield in Illinois complies with the Smoke-free Illinois Act and prohibits smoking of tobacco products in any building owned by the Diocese of Springfield in Illinois. Smoking is prohibited 15 feet from the entrances, exits, windows that open, and ventilation intakes on the premises of the Diocese of Springfield in Illinois Employees in violation of this act may be subject to disciplinary action up to and including termination of employment. The Diocese of Springfield in Illinois prohibits discrimination against employees based on their off-premises and off-duty tobacco usage.
