7.17. Voting Leave
Employees may take two hours of leave during the polling period for the purpose of voting. The employee may request voting leave prior to the day of any election if his/her working hours begin less than two hours after the opening of the polls and end less than two hours before the polls close. The time when an employee can go to vote will be at the discretion of the pastor, principal, supervisor or agency director, consistent with applicable legal requirements.
