6.14. Personal Appearance

Each employee represents his/her employer and its ministry in their appearance as well as by their actions.

Dress codes standards are governed by each local agency, as long as such standards meet the moral and ethical guidelines of Catholic Church teaching. Employees may direct any questions about the dress code to the pastor, principal, supervisor or agency director. Failure to comply with the personal appearance standards may result in being sent home to groom or change clothes. Frequent violations may result in disciplinary action, up to and including termination of employment.
