Gift & Campaign Participation:

Each parish project within the diocese will contribute a tithe based on funds raised to the larger diocesan renovation and renewal projects. This tithe will cover the majority of funds needed, however individual donations are appreciated and accepted for this project. Donors may want to consider a gift to their parish project, and a legacy gift in their will or estate to the diocesan campaign. However you choose to participate, we appreciate your sacrificial generosity!

Project Description:

The campuses at the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception, Catholic Pastoral Center, and the Villa Maria Retreat Center are in need of repair and refurbishment. In evaluating the mission priorities of these locations, the need for a hospitable and welcoming environment was a main priority. These facilities welcome guest from throughout the diocese for sacraments, formation, and retreats. In addition to funding the structural needs of the diocesan campuses, a fund will be established to provide for the ongoing maintenance and long-term diocesan campus capital needs. Funds raised from individual contributions can also support diocesan endowments in The Foundation for the People of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Springfield in Illinois including the Catholic Education Tuition Assistance Endowment, Continuing Education of Catholic School Educators Endowment, and the Catechist Formation and Religious Education Endowment and the Seminarian Endowment.
