The Cathedral will be hosting a special screening of Triumph of the Heart - a powerful true story about St. Maximilian Kolbe, the Franciscan priest who chose sacrifice over survival and love over hatred during his imprisonment in Auschwitz.

When a fellow prisoner was selected to die, Fr. Kolbe courageously volunteered to take his place. He then spent his final days ministering to the other condemned men in the starvation chamber—offering prayer, hope, and peace in the face of unimaginable suffering.

This moving film is a profound witness to faith, self-giving love, and the triumph of grace even in the darkest circumstances.
