You are invited to join the Diocese of Springfield in Illinois for the Ordination to the Transitional Diaconate of seminarian Padrick Mulligan on Friday, May 22 at 6:30 p.m. at the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception.

A transitional deacon is a man preparing for priesthood who is ordained to serve the Church through the proclamation of the Gospel, preaching, works of charity, and service at the altar. This ordination marks an important step in the journey toward the priesthood and is a powerful witness to God’s call and the importance of vocations in the life of the Church.

All are welcome to attend and pray for Padrick, for an increase in vocations to the priesthood and religious life, and for all seminarians preparing to serve the Church.
