QUINCY — The Springfield Diocesan Council of Catholic Women (SDCCW) will hold its 97th Annual Convention on Thursday, Sept. 3, in Quincy, hosted by the Quincy Deanery Council of Catholic Women. The day will begin with a morning Rosary and Mass at St. Anthony of Padua Church, followed by registration and the convention program at The Ambiance Banquet Hall in Quincy.

The convention theme, “Handmaids of the Lord: Make Me a Channel of Your Peace,” will be brought to life by guest speaker Teresa Tomeo, an author, syndicated Catholic talk show host, and motivational speaker with more than 40 years of experience in television, radio, and print journalism. She is a familiar face on the EWTN Global Catholic Television Network, including as host of the EWTN Learn Series: Saints in Italy.
