Beginning July 2021, the Annual Catholic Services Appeal will be replaced by the Parish Community Tithe Gift toward the Diocesan mission and ministries. Moving forward, parishes will be asked to contribute 10% of parish general support, excluding revenue from Cemeteries, Schools, or Bishop Approved Capital Campaigns. These gifts will ensure the ministries of the Diocese, in support of the universal church, will continue to share in the goodness and growth of discipleship and stewardship throughout the Diocese of Springfield in Illinois.
