DESCRIPTION:You are invited to join the Diocese of Springfield in Illinois for the Ordination to the Transitional Diaconate of seminarian Padrick Mulligan on Friday\, May 22 at 6:30 p.m. at the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception. \nA transitional deacon is a man preparing for priesthood who is ordained to serve the Church through the proclamation of the Gospel\, preaching\, works of charity\, and service at the altar.
